Marc Coudriet - Lead Trainer
Marc Coudriet has 26 years of corrections with an additional 6 years in law enforcement. He has developed law enforcement programs and training for a Federal Police Department. He courses on operational planning and management in corrections. In the corrections field, he taught and managed all mission functions, methods, procedures, staffing, funding, organization, and leadership.
Marc Coudriet is certified in the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) program. He conducted the recruitment and hiring of personnel; initiated, recommended, or approved concepts with staffing specialists to resolve critical recruitment problems. He identified the training needs of employees and manage the law enforcement and correctional training programs in accordance with program standards. As a Warden, Marc Coudriet supervised all areas in the field of corrections and prison operations: Security, Administration, Programs, Staffing, and Industry. Marc Coudriet is a certified auditor since 2003 through the American Corrections Association (ACA), primarily conducting ACA compliance audits for the ACA Certification for Correctional Facilities.
In 2014, he began the process for and became a certified Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Auditor. In total he has conducted thirty- six (36) ACA compliance audits and ninety-five (95) PREA compliance audits, he has received two (2) awards from ACA for leadership, professionalism, and commitment to the accreditation process in 2004 and 2017 for both ACA Accreditation and PREA audits. Marc Coudriet is currently a certified educator in the State of Texas.
Jule Brownfield - VP of PAOA
Jule started his career in corrections in 1982 and retired as a Major in 2009 at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, which is the 3rd largest jail system in the United States. As a Major, he managed and operated all jail facilities, operations, and support services which housed a combined population of approximately ±11,000 inmates. He also managed, employed, and supported approximately 1,800 employees. Jule was entrusted with oversight of the security and day to day operations with duties that consisted of but were not limited to include, review, update, implement and enforce policies with regard to compliance with federal, state, and county standards for the care, custody, and control of inmates.
